MFE SRDF: MSC Recovery Script Failure

Symptoms

The MSC Recovery Script failed so cleanup was not run on the devices. 

Depending upon the site from which a user would like to recover, the MSC recovery script may fail completion with any of the following errors:
  • NO LINKS
  • CUU NOT FOUND
  • NO SCRATCH AREA


Cause

Incorrect logic failed to determine at which site the user was running and issued the incorrect remote calls.

Resolution

Permanent Fix:
  • For Mainframe Enablers 10.0.0, PTF SRA0002 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Technologies Online Support.
This PTF adds logic to correctly determine the site at which a user is running and issues remote calls using the correct RDF groups.
