PowerScale: Linux CEE-foutopsporing en logboekverzameling

Tijdens het uitvoeren van een Linux CEE kan de foutopsporingsmodus worden ingeschakeld om geavanceerdere data te verzamelen voor probleemoplossing. Volg de onderstaande stappen: 

Kopieer het configuratiebestand om eenvoudig herstel mogelijk te maken: 

#cp /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml.bak

Edit the /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml configuration file to set both debug and Verbose to 63.  

#vi /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml

Under Configuration, find "Debug" and "Verbose" and change value to 63:

Restart the CEE process: 

# /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_svc restart
Shutting down EMC CEE Service:                             [  OK  ]
Starting EMC CEE Service: emc_cee.exe (pid 18902 18899) is running...

Debug is now enabled.  Trigger some auditable events on the cluster or monitor for the error we are troubleshooting then revert back to original. 

To revert back to original config: 

First, I like to make a copy of the debug config for future use: 

#cp /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml.debug

Then Copy the original backup back to the main config and restart CEE again

#cp /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml.bak /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml
#/opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_svc restart

We want to then gather the log file /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_svc.log and have that sent in for review.  

 
 

Voor configuratie- en gebruiksinstructies voor CEE op Linux volgt u de documentatie

"Common Event Enabler on Linux". Als er een eerder gemaakte foutopsporingskopie van het configuratiebestand is gemaakt en de oorspronkelijke configuratie nog steeds aanwezig is, kan het foutopsporingsbestand naar de hoofdconfiguratie worden gekopieerd en kan de service opnieuw worden gestart (maak altijd een back-up van de huidige configuratie zoals hierboven weergegeven):

#cp /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml.debug /opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_config.xml
#/opt/CEEPack/emc_cee_svc restart
