所有 Data Domain Restorers （DDR） 都包含称为“活动层”的存储池或存储区域：

  • 这是新接收的文件或数据所在的磁盘区域。在大多数 DDR 上，文件会一直保留在此处，直到客户端备份应用程序过期或删除。
  • 在配置了扩展保留 （ER） 或长期保留 （LTR） 的 DDR 上，数据移动过程可能会定期运行，以将旧文件从活动层迁移到归档或云层。
  • 回收已删除或已迁移文件所使用的活动层中的空间的唯一方法是运行垃圾收集/清理过程 （GC）。

活动层的当前利用率可以使用以下命令显示： filesys show space 或 df 命令：

DD 空间使用情况警报信息：

  • Data Domain 系统采用内部设计，当活动层空间利用率达到 90% 时，它会自动生成警报。可以更改此警报配置。默认情况下，warning-space-usage 值设置为 90%，critical-space-usage 值设置为 95%。
  • 检查 warning-space-usage 和 critical-space-usage 参数的当前值： 
    • # filesys option show warning-space-usage
    • # filesys option show critical-space-usage 
    • 所需的角色：admin、limited-admin、user、backup-operator、security、none。
  • 设置 warning-space-usage 和 critical-space-usage 参数的值： 
    • # filesys option set warning-space-usage <space-usage-value>
      • 范围 <space-usage-value> 是 50 - 90。
    • # filesys option set critical-space-usage <space-usage-value>
      • 范围 <space-usage-value> 是 75 - 98。
    • 所需角色：admin、limited-admin。
提醒：建议您将 warning-space-usage 百分比低于 critical-space-usage 百分比。
  • 活动层可能会开始耗尽可用空间，从而导致显示以下警报或消息：
    • EVT-SPACE-00004: 数据收集中的空间使用量已超过 90% 阈值：这是当 DD 空间已用 90% 时发生的初始警报。没有流程受到影响。
    • EVT-SPACE-00004: 数据收集中的空间使用量已超过 95% 阈值：当 DD 空间利用率达到 95% 时，会发生此警报。性能可能会受到影响，例如清理和其他过程。
    • EVT-SPACE-00004: 数据收集中的空间使用量已超过 100% 阈值：如果活动层 100% 已满，则无法将任何新数据写入 DDR。这可能会导致备份和复制过程失败。在这种情况下，可能会显示如下日志消息： 
      • CRITICAL: MSG-CM-00002: /../vpart:/vol1/col1/cp1/cset: Container set [container set ID] out of space
  • 在某些情况下，活动层变满可能会导致 Data Domain 文件系统 （DDFS） 变为只读状态。无法删除现有文件。

必须仔细管理活动层的利用率，否则可能会发生上述情况。
