NetWorker Module for Databases and Applications (NMDA) voor Oracle installeren op Linux.

De installatie van NMDA op Linux voor Oracle-databaseback-ups bestaat uit twee stappen.   

• De software installeren met behulp van RPM
• De NMDA Oracle Library koppelen aan Oracle  

1. Voer als hoofdgebruiker de RPM-opdracht uit en zorg ervoor dat de NetWorker lgtoclnten een uitgebreid clientpakket lgtoxtdclnt zijn geïnstalleerd op de Oracle-host. 

   rpm -qa |grep -i lgt
   lgtoclnt-19.14.0.0-1.x86_64
   lgtoxtdclnt-19.14.0.0-1.x86_64
   

2. Controleer of het NetWorker nsrexecd achtergrondproces wordt uitgevoerd en start het als dat niet het geval is.

   [root@nmda19-1 nsr]# ps -ef |grep -i nsr
   
   [root@nmda19-1 nsr]# systemctl start networker
   
   [root@nmda19-1 nsr]# ps -ef |grep -i nsr
   root      434734       1  1 15:59 ?        00:00:00 /usr/sbin/nsrexecd
   [root@nmda19-1 nsr]#

3. Decomprimeer en pak uw eerder gedownloade NMDA-teerbal uit.

   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# gunzip nmda19401_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# ls
   nmda19401_linux_x86_64.tar
   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# tar -xvf nmda19401_linux_x86_64.tar
   LGTO_METAFILE_linux86w_nmda.mf
   lgtonmda-19.4.0.1-1.x86_64.rpm
   sd_products.res
   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]#
   

4. Installeer de NMDA-software met behulp van het RPM-installatieprogramma.

   [root@nmda19-1 19.4]# rpm -ivh lgtonmda-19.4.0.1-1.x86_64.rpm

   with NMDA, there might be additional postinstall steps you have to

   ***  Important Information for Configuring NetWorker Module backups   ***

   You can now start the NMC Backup Configuration wizard to configure the backups.
   To start the wizard:
   1. In your web browser, go to the URL of the console server
      http://nmc_server_name:9000 (the default port is 9000).
   2. Log in to the console server.
   3. Select the appropriate server name, click Launch NetWorker Administration
      in the right pane to start the NetWorker Administration interface.
   4. Click the Protection button, right-click Clients in the left pane, and
      select New or New Client Wizard from the menu.

5. Word de Oracle-gebruiker (de gebruiker die eigenaar is van de $ORACLE_HOME directory), en maak een symbolische link naar de NMDA-bibliotheek.

    su - oracle
    cd $ORACLE_HOME/lib
    ln -s /usr/lib/libnsrora.so  libobk.so

     8. Controleer of u een SBT-kanaal kunt toewijzen met behulp van de nieuwe NMDA bibliotheek, door verbinding te maken met RMAN en het uitvoeren van een eenvoudig script.
