Symptoms

  • Het systeem meldt ontbrekende of ongeldige hardware of apparaten die op onjuiste locaties zijn geïnstalleerd
  • Bestandssysteem kan niet worden ingeschakeld na hardwarewijzigingen

Voorbeelden van waarschuwingsmeldingen:

EVT-ENVIRONMENT-00048 InvalidHardwareWarning: The system detected an invalid hardware configuration
OR
EVT-ENVIRONMENT-00049 InvalidHardwareCritical: Filesystem can't be enabled due to an invalid hardware configuration

Cause

  • Nieuwe hardware geïnstalleerd in niet-ondersteunde slots
  • Vereiste onderdelen ontbreken of zijn zoekgeraakt
  • Systeem faalt door validatiecontroles tijdens opstarten of inventarisscan

Resolution

  1. Maak verbinding met het systeem met behulp van SSH en voer uit: 
    • # enclosure show  misconfiguration
    • Met deze opdracht wordt aangegeven welke hardware ontbreekt of onjuist is geplaatst

  2. Raadpleeg de hardwaredocumentatie van Data Domain om het juiste slot en de configuratievereisten te bepalen.

  3. Schakel het systeem uit, verplaats of installeer hardwarecomponenten opnieuw zodat ze voldoen aan geldige configuratiecriteria.

  4. Start het systeem opnieuw op. De melding wordt automatisch gewist als de hardwareconfiguratie geldig is.
