Creare un'istantanea.

Resolution

SOLUZIONE

Creazione di un'istantanea utilizzando DD OS 5.0 e versioni successive
  1. Al prompt del sistema Data Domain, digitare: 
    snapshot create <snapshot> mtree <mtree-path> [retention {<date> | <period>}]
    Esempio: 
    # snapshot create test22 mtree /backup retention  1mos
Snapshot "test22" created and will be retained until May 31 2010 08:48.
    • Se una snapshot è stata creata alle 8:48 del 1° maggio 2010 con un periodo di retention di un mese, verrà conservata per 30 giorni.
    Nota: Il numero massimo di snapshot che possono essere archiviate in un sistema è 750. Se viene raggiunto il numero massimo, il sistema genera un avviso. È possibile risolvere questo problema facendo scadere le snapshot e quindi eseguendo il comando filesys pulito.
