使用 DD OS 5.0 及更新版本建立快照
  1. 在 Data Domain 系統提示字元中，輸入： 
    snapshot create <snapshot> mtree <mtree-path> [retention {<date> | <period>}]
    範例： 
    # snapshot create test22 mtree /backup retention  1mos
Snapshot "test22" created and will be retained until May 31 2010 08:48.
    • 如果快照是在 2010 年 5 月 1 日上午 8：48 創建的，保留期為一個月，則該快照將保留 30 天。
    注意：允許在系統上存儲的最大快照數為 750。如果達到最大數量，系統將生成警報。您可以使快照到期，然後執行命令來解決此問題 Filesys 清理。
