Symptoms

Avamar SQL 백업이 실패하고 다음과 유사한 오류가 발생할 수 있습니다.

avsql Error <40258>: sqlconnectimpl_smo::get_installed_instance_list Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.SmoException: SQL Server WMI provider is not available on SQLMACHINE. ---> System.Management.ManagementException: Invalid namespace

 

Cause

백업 에이전트(avagent) 서비스는 SQL Server Management Studio에서 NT 도메인 사용자 계정에 sysadmin 역할이 할당되어 있더라도 해당 계정으로 실행됩니다.

기본적으로 avagent 서비스는 기본 로컬 SYSTEM 계정으로 실행됩니다.

 

Resolution

avagent 서비스 계정을 다시 로컬 SYSTEM으로 변경하고 서비스를 재시작하여 변경 사항을 적용합니다. SQL Server Management Studio에서 "NT Authority\SYSTEM" 계정에 sysadmin 역할이 할당되어 있는지 확인합니다.
