Symptoms
Engineering is investigating the issue and a fix may be released in upcoming OneFS 8.x maintenance releases.
The amber alert LED on the front panel of nodes remain lit after events have been cleared.
NOTE
This article applies to OneFS 8.x and later
Cause
In all current versions of OneFS v8.x the CELOG alert process clears the events from the database but does not clear up the LED flag. This issue results in the amber alert LED on the front panel being lit even after the event is canceled, resolved or quieted.

To check if you having the front panel LED Alert light on with no active events, please the the following commands through the CLI on your cluster:
NOTE: It is highly recommended to copy the output from these commands in case you need to open a Service Request with Technical Support
1.) Verify that ALERT LEDs are on:
# isi_for_array -s "/usr/bin/isi_hwtools/isi_fputil -g"
SAMPLE OUTPUT: led state blink ------- ----- ----- logo on off alert on off button off off cluster on off
If alert LED is on please proceed to step 2.
2.) Check for unresolved events:
# isi event list --resolved=no
If there are no unresolved events listed and the alert light is still on, please contact Technical Support and reference this KB article.
Copying the outputs from the commands above or uploading a logset is recommended when contacting Technical Support.
