Symptoms
DDR 2400 DIMM supply is being replaced with DDR 2666 DIMMs, which are backward compatible.
Memory module (DIMM) reports INCORRECT SPEED in GUI
Memory module (DIMM) reports INCORRECT SPEED in GUI
Cause
This reporting issue happens because the DDR 2400 DIMM supply is being replaced with DDR 2666 DIMMs which are backward compatible.
This is only a reporting issue, and these DDR 2666 DIMMs perform as expected and present no issues.
The hardware logs show no faults, but in some of the logs (TRiiAGE_ECOM.txt), you can see ALRT_MEMORY_INCORRECT_SPEED which may be shown in the GUI as well.
