Description:
File system XXXXXX is offline.

 

Cause

The issue is that the file system goes offline with freeing free block error, this is the meta space of the lower deck file system.

 

Resolution

Contact Dell Customer Service And request immediate recovery assistance if your file system is offline.

Permanent Fix:

  • The issue is fixed in the 5.0.2.0.5.009 code. After recovery, upgrade to 5.0.2.0.5.009 or later to have the fix and prevent reoccurrence.

Workaround:

  • There is no workaround for this problem.
