RedHat Enterprise 10環境でのOpenStack Cinderの実装。

Red Hat OpenStack Platform 10でVNX Cinderドライバーを使用すると、「ドライバーの初期化に失敗しました」というエラーが発生します。

Cause

Red Hat OpenStack Platform 10では、VNX Cinderドライバーを使用して、各ホストにDell EMC storops (https://github.com/emc-openstack/storops)ライブラリーをインストールする必要があります。Storopsは、Dell EMCによって作成および管理される、VNXシステムにコマンドを送信するために使用されるPythonライブラリーです。storops ライブラリーは、Red Hat OpenStack Platform 10 の基本インストールには含まれていません。

Resolution

VNX Cinderドライバーを使用している各OpenStackホストにstoropsをインストールします。
