Marvell Command-Line Interface MVCLI og MVSETUP BOSS-S1-verktøyet gir en metode for å innhente informasjon og manipulere BOSS-kontrolleren. Installering
ESXi:
1) Last ned nyeste MVCLI fra https://dell.com/support
2) Overfør ZIP ved hjelp av foretrukket SCP Søknad som f.eks. WinSCP til /tmp katalog på ESXi-verten.
3) SSH inn i ESXi-verten og installer den med følgende kommando:
esxcli software vib install -d /tmp/[FILE-NAME-OF-DOWNLOAD.zip]
Eksempel på installasjonskommando og -utdata:
[root@localhost:~] esxcli software vib install -d /tmp/SAS-RAID_BOSS-S1_CLI_A00.zip

1) Last ned nyeste MVCLI fra https://dell.com/support
2) Overfør ZIP ved hjelp av din foretrukne SCP-applikasjon (for eksempel WinSCP) til /tmp katalog på linuxhost.
3) SSH inn i linux verten
4) Naviger til /tmp
[root@localhost ~]# cd /tmp
4) Unzip the archive (file name may be different based on version)
[root@localhost tmp]# unzip mvcli\ 4.1.13.31_A01.zip
5) Navigate to installation directory (directory name may be different vased on version) :
[root@localhost tmp]# cd /tmp/mvcli\ 4.1.13.31_A01/i386/cli
6) Apply executable permission (must be done using root or sudo) :
[root@localhost cli]# chmod +x install.sh mvcli
Windows:
1) Last ned og installer den nyeste DUP-driveren for BOSS fra https://dell.com/support
2) Last ned de nyeste MVSetup fra https://dell.com/support
3) høyreklikker du på ZIP-filen og pakker den ut.
Bruk
ESXi:
- Endre katalogen til installasjonskatalogen:
cd /opt/boss-s1
- Bruk av mccli:
./mvcli ?
