Product Overview:

Dell Storage with Microsoft Storage Spaces (DSMS) solution to use as a Scale-Out File Server (SOFS) or Converged solution. These solutions use Dell PowerEdge servers in a failover cluster and provide shared storage by supporting up to four DSMS to configure and manage the storage. Storage Spaces is a software-defined storage (SDS) component in the Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system (OS).

The solution is based on ether the Dell PowerEdge R630 or R730 Server platform to leverage ease of use, compatibility, and scalability. These DSMS systems can be paired with DSMS storage enclosures DSMS 1400/1420/3060e for storage expandability.
