How to Disable Wireless for Wyse 5070 Thin Client

Affected Platforms:

  • Wyse 5070
  • Wyse 5070 EX

Affected Operating Systems:

  • ThinOS 9
  • ThinOS 8
  • Windows Embedded Standard

The process to disable wireless differs between platforms. Click the appropriate operating system for more information.

To disable the wireless:

  1. Log in to the WES endpoint.
  2. In the Windows Taskbar, click Network Settings.

  1. In Networking Settings, click Wi-Fi to disable.

To disable the wireless:

  1. Log in to the ThinOS endpoint.
  2. Left-click the Desktop and select System Setup, and then Network Setup.

  1. In Network Setup, select the WLAN tab.

  1. Check Disable Wireless Device and then click OK.

To disable the wireless:

  1. Log in to the ThinOS9 endpoint.
  2. Click Settings on the toolbar and then Network Setup.

  1. In Network Setup, select the WLAN tab.

  1. Check Disable Wireless Device and then click OK.
