Symptoms

Dopo aver eseguito il controllo integrità da VPlexcli, si noti il mis-aligned RP-enabled consistency groups:

Eseguire il comando rp validate-configuration dal VPlexcli per ottenere i nomi dei CG non allineati. Vengono visualizzate le seguenti informazioni che indicano un problema con il gruppo composito:

Si noti che l'icona vplex-rp-cg-alignment-indications che il volume virtuale esiste in due CG diversi, cosa non consentita:

È inoltre possibile che venga visualizzata l'avvertenza: 
'device_CLARiiON1234_LUN8989_1_vol' is not in a RecoverPoint consistency group and is not being protected.

Advise customer to add this device(s) to a RecoverPoint consistency group.

Cause

  • Problema di configurazione in cui i volumi virtuali in un consistency group VPLEX esistono in consistency group RecoverPoint diversi o un volume virtuale si trova in un CG VPLEX, ma non in un CG RecoverPoint.
  • Il volume virtuale VPLEX deve trovarsi in un solo CG RecoverPoint. L'utente deve rimuovere il volume virtuale dal CG su RecoverPoint.
  • Per il problema di allineamento che mostra che il volume virtuale si trova in un RP-enabled VPLEX CG, ma non in un CG RecoverPoint, l'utente deve inserire il volume virtuale VPLEX in un CG RecoverPoint o rimuovere il volume virtuale dal CG VPLEX

Resolution

  • Fornire queste informazioni all'utente.
  • Richiedere all'utente di risolvere il problema di configurazione del CG.
