Connectrix Cisco: 커널 패닉으로 인해 스위치의 전원이 꺼짐

Summary: MDS 스위치가 다운되었고 커널 패닉 후 다시 로드되지 않았습니다. 사용자가 수동으로 스위치의 전원을 켜야 했습니다.

Symptoms

Stack-Trace의 출력에는 스위치가 오프라인 상태이고 다시 로드되지 않아 온라인 상태인 CPU 6개 중 5개만 표시됩니다.

Cause

CPU 중 하나가 오프라인 상태여서 스위치의 전원이 꺼졌습니다.

 

Resolution

영구 수정:

  • 6개의 CPU가 모두 온라인 상태가 아닌 경우 스위치를 교체하고 새 스위치가 NX-OS v8.4(1a) 이상에서 실행 중인지 확인합니다.
  • 6개의 CPU가 모두 온라인 상태인 경우 펌웨어를 NX-OS v8.4(1a) 이상으로 업그레이드하여 재발을 방지합니다.
