Connectrix Cisco : Le commutateur est hors tension en raison d’une panique du noyau

Summary: Le commutateur MDS était arrêté et n’a pas pu se recharger après une panique du noyau. L’utilisateur a dû mettre le commutateur sous tension manuellement.

Symptoms

La sortie de Stack-Trace n’affiche que cinq processeurs en ligne sur six, à cause desquels le commutateur était hors ligne et n’a pas été rechargé.

Cause

L’un des processeurs était hors ligne, ce qui a provoqué la mise hors tension du commutateur.

 

Resolution

Correctif permanent :

  • Si les six processeurs ne sont pas en ligne, remplacez le commutateur et assurez-vous que le nouveau commutateur fonctionne sur NX-OS v8.4(1a) ou une version ultérieure.
  • Si les six processeurs sont en ligne, mettez à niveau le firmware vers NX-OS v8.4(1a) ou une version ultérieure pour éviter que cela ne se reproduise.

Cela s’applique uniquement aux commutateurs Cisco MDS-9396s.
