Virtual Media Use Cases:
- Install Operating System
- Present Drivers through the iDRAC

Virtual Media vs RFS vs Boot to Network ISO:
Features of Virtual Media:
- Able to mount both a Virtual CD and Virtual Floppy simultaneously
- Able to mount a local file and from a share
- Disconnects when the Virtual Console disconnects
- Only able to be mounted from the Web user interface
Features of Remote File Share:
- Only able to mount one thing at a time
- Only able to mount from a share
- Stays connected until disconnected on purpose
- Able to be mounted using user interface,
WSMAN, Redfish, and Racadm
Features of Boot to Network ISO:
- Only able to mount one thing at a time, unless using
SCPMethod on iDRAC9 FW 4.00.00.00 - Only able to mount from a share
- Stays connected a predetermined amount of time, default is 18 hours
- Able to be mounted using
WSMAN, Redfish, and SCP Import

Steps to turn anything into a Virtual Floppy image:
- Launch Virtual Console with Java plug-in
- Select Virtual Media > Create Image
- Browse to a folder or anything that you want and select it
- After the wizard completes mounting the new
.imgas a Virtual Floppy
