The IDPA system consists of several servers. Each of them have a Serial Number or Software ID (SWID).
To open a Service Request for an IDPA, you must get the IDPA serial Number and you may need these numbers for other reasons as well.
There are two ways to get the IDPA system serial numbers or SWID.
- Download the IDPA Configuration PDF document, by clicking the PDF icon in the upper right of the ACM UI as shown below:
- Open the solutionId.xml config file which has the serial numbers and SWID listed in it.
- Log in to the ACM using PuTTY or SSH as root.
- Go to /usr/local/dataprotection/var/configmgr/server_data/config.
- Cat out the solutionId.xml file
- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
