Symptoms

The VxRail H5 Plug-in for VMware vCenter is used to manage and monitor a VxRail environment from within vCenter.
It is registered and enabled in vCenter when a VxRail cluster is deployed and is updated regularly when a VxRail cluster is updated/upgraded.

This article details the plug-in version in each VxRail release.

Cause

To confirm the current VxRail H5 plug-in registered to a VxRail cluster:
  • Log in to the vCenter UI using a web browser
  • Go to the Administration > Solutions > Client Plugins Section
  • The VxRail plug-in is registered with the name 'VxRail HTML5 Client Plugin'
