Symptoms

磁碟機升級失敗，並顯示錯誤：
  • Upgrade failed on appliance X with the following message: Received response from platform: java.lang.NullPointerException (0xE04030010003)
  • Received response from platform: java.lang.NullPointerException (0xE04030010044)

Cause

發生此事件順序時，就會發生此問題：
  1. 磁碟機韌體套件已上傳但未使用。
  2. 叢集已從 PowerStoreOS v1 升級至 PowerStoreOS v2。
  3. 嘗試使用 PowerStoreOS 升級前上傳的套件進行磁碟韌體升級。

在升級至 v2 期間，磁碟機套件 uuid 會在管理資料庫中設為 null。
嘗試進行磁碟韌體升級時，null 套件 uuid 會導致升級失敗，並顯示錯誤 java.lang.NullPointerException。

Resolution

必須手動刪除舊磁碟機韌體套件的參照，並清除升級狀態。完成此作業後，即可再次上傳磁碟機韌體升級套件，並繼續升級。
