PowerStore: VSS provider installation rolls back due to missing Visual C++ Redistributable requirement

The installer rolls back the installation:

C:\Program Files\Dell EMC\PowerStore\PowerStore VSS Hardware Provider_PowerStore VSS Hardware Provider_installation\Logs\PowerStore_VSS_Hardware_Provider_Install_dd_mm_yyyy_hh_mm_ss.log


The logs show: 
Error occurred while installing the following Action, hence rolling back the installation....!
Action Name:              Download File Action 
Action Description:       Download File Action : URL: http://download.microsoft.com/download/1/6/B/16B06F60-3B20-4FF2-B699-5E9B7962F9AE/VSU_4/vcredist_x64.exe 

Error Details as below:
Connection with the specified server could not be established during Download File Action. Please check your firewall settings or URL and/or port number specified.

Cause

Internet access is not available to download the required redistributable package.

Resolution

Install C++ redistributable runtime libraries manually and then install the PowerStore VSS provider.
