Symptoms

Quando si tenta di configurare Remote Syslog da Setting > Security > Remote syslog in Unisphere for PowerMax, l'operazione ha esito negativo con errore: 
java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
 
java.net.SocketException: Reimpostazione della connessione

smas.log contiene solo le seguenti voci: 
2022-03-04 14:49:11,568 ERROR [em.bp.SECURITY] (default task-40) SecurityCommandProcessor.processConfigureRemoteSyslogCommand:java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
2022-03-04 14:51:39,978 ERROR [em.bp.SECURITY] (default task-14) SecurityCommandProcessor.processConfigureRemoteSyslogCommand:java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
2022-03-07 15:50:51,998 ERROR [em.bp.SECURITY] (default task-31) SecurityCommandProcessor.processConfigureRemoteSyslogCommand:java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

Cause

Questo errore è dovuto a un problema di rete.

Resolution

Il team di rete dell'utente ha rilevato che il traffico per la porta 6514 era bloccato. Una volta risolto il problema di rete, è possibile configurare syslog remoto.
