Symptoms

L'integrazione NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) è configurata con l'appliance vProxy. Quando si tenta di registrare un nuovo vProxy in NetWorker Management Console (NMC), l'operazione ha esito negativo con errori di accesso e connessione.

Cause

vProxy non può risolvere il nome vCenter perché non è configurato con un DNS corretto.

Resolution

Modificare il file vProxy /etc/resolv.conf per includere un DNS appropriato in grado di risolvere i problemi di NetWorker Server, vCenter Server e Data Domain. 

DNS è configurato durante il deployment dell'appliance vProxy. È inoltre possibile riconfigurare manualmente le impostazioni di rete/DNS effettuando le seguenti operazioni: NVP vProxy: Come modificare manualmente le impostazioni dell'interfaccia di rete dell'appliance vProxy
