Slow boot after installing large memory modules on Precision Tower
Users may experience long boot times of up to fifty seconds or more when starting up the Precision Tower after installing a large amount of memory.
Cause
The difference in CPU structure and memory controller causes the long boot time or slow boot. Larger memory needs a longer time to be initiated during the booting process, resulting in a slow boot time.
Resolution
