Cause
This error is caused by low memory resources on the DPA Datastore server.
Resolution
Confirm the minimum memory requirements are configured, which is outlined in the DPA Administration Guide.
DPA also needs to be tuned for the memory resources on the server.
Example, if 32GB of memory is allocated to the server, DPA should be tuned as follows:
Linux: <install dir>/emc/dpa/services/bin> ./dpa.sh ds tune 32GB
Windows: <install dir>\emc\dpa\services\bin> dpa ds 32GB
The DPA service needs to be restarted for the tuning to take affect:
Linux: <install dir>/emc/dpa/services/bin> ./dpa.sh ds restart
Windows: <install dir>\emc\dpa\services\bin> dpa ds restart
The import should now complete successfully.
