Instructions

Before proceeding with any action, please take a snapshot of the SCG first. 

The are two options to reboot the SCG containers:
  1. The first option is to reboot the SCG containers only.
    1. Access the CLI of the SCG thought console or a putty session.
    2. Type the following command in the CLI to make sure that the docker containers are running: # docker ps# docker ps result
 
    1. Then type the following commands in the screenshot below:

  1. Containers rebooting is done. Wait for 5 minutes for the containers to be fully functional again.


  
 
  1. The second option is to reboot the SCG VM itself which would also result in rebooting all SCG services including the containers.
    1. Access the CLI of the SCG thought console or a putty session.
    2. Type the following command to reboot the SCG VM: # reboot
    3. SCG VM takes about 5 - 10 minutes to fully reboot depending on your environment.
