Symptoms

  • SQL Server 2022 app consistent back-ups (MSVMAPPAGENT) zijn geconfigureerd met behulp van het NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) vProxy apparaat.

Cause

Het vProxy apparaat gebruikt MSVMAPPAGENT 19.4.0.0.

NetWorker 19.4.0.0 biedt geen ondersteuning voor SQL Server 2022.

Resolution

Dit probleem is gemeld aan NetWorker Engineering. Een toekomstige vProxy versie ondersteunt SQL Server 2022. Dit KB-artikel wordt bijgewerkt zodra een versie wordt bepaald.

Oplossing:
Installeer de NetWorker-client- en NetWorker Module for Microsoft -pakketten (NMM) op de SQL Server 2022-machine. Beide pakketten moeten minimaal 19.7.0.x zijn. SQL-back-ups kunnen worden verkregen met behulp van de NMM-clientsoftware.
