Symptoms

The following error messages are shown in the nsrsqlsv logs: 
nsrsqlsv NSR info SQL Connection to "<Primary SQL Server>\<SQL Instance>" is created. SQL Server Version is 11.00.7507
nsrsqlsv NSR critical Cannot login to SQL Server "<Mirrored SQL Server>\<SQL Instance>".
nsrsqlsv: SQL Server Network Interfaces: Error Locating Server/Instance Specified [xFFFFFFFF].
nsrsqlsv: (Error: -1)
nsrsqlsv: Microsoft SQL server documentation provides details about the following SQL Server Provider error:
nsrsqlsv: Invalid authorization specification

Cause

SQL browser service was not running on the secondary server, mirrored SQL server.

Resolution

Start SQL Browser Service on the secondary SQL server with the help of Database Administrator.
