  • "엔진 ID"는 SNMPv3 전용 기능이며 향상된 보안 모델의 일부로 도입되었습니다.  
  • 엔진 ID는 SNMP 에이전트 또는 SNMP 관리자와 같은 각 SNMPv3 엔터티를 고유하게 식별합니다. 
  • ID의 고유성은 SNMPv3가 이전 버전과 비교하여 보안 기능이 추가되었다는 점을 염두에 두어야 보안을 위해 매우 중요합니다. 
  • 엔진 ID는 보안 매개변수를 생성하는 데 사용되며 통신이 실제로 올바른 디바이스와 이루어지는지 확인하는 데 도움이 됩니다. 
  • 고유한 엔진 ID가 없으면 보안 침해 또는 통신 오류가 발생할 수 있습니다.


기본적으로 엔진 ID는 디바이스의 MAC 주소를 기반으로 하며 SNMP v3 통신의 일부입니다.
그러나 SNMP 채널 생성 실행 시 맞춤형 "엔진 ID"를 정의하고 통신이 더 안전한지 확인하십시오.
SnmpEngineID 텍스트 규칙 [RFC3411]은 snmpEngineID 값이 5에서 32 옥텟 사이여야 함을 정의하며, 모든 옥텟의 값은 두 개의 16진수로 지정됩니다. 

"Engine ID"를 사용하여 SNMP 채널을 생성하는 명령:

isi event channels create snmpchannel snmp --host=<snmp-receiver.example.com> --
snmp-auth-password=<string> --snmp-security-name=<string> --snmp-priv-password=<string>
--snmp-engine-id=<string>
