ECS: Code Upgrade Recommendation for CAS Customers with Past Transformation

Instructions
For ECS CAS customers who had past migrations using ECS Transformation, it is recommended to schedule future upgrades to ECS 3.8.0.5 or above only
- If you are on code older than ECS 3.6.2.x, then you may be requested to upgrade to the latest ECS 3.6.2.x as an interim step before going to ECS 3.8.0.5 or above.
- ECS Engineering is investigating an issue that might lead to Data Unavailability (DU) if:
- You had a Transformation migration run in the past.
- You are upgrading to ECS 3.7.0.2 - ECS 3.8.0.4, inclusive.
Additional Information
Run the following command to confirm if you have CAS buckets on your ECS:
# svc_bucket listIf you have CAS buckets and you are not sure if you had Transformation migration in the past, it is recommended to follow the recommendation of this KB and plan any future upgrades to ECS 3.8.0.5 or above.
