PowerStore: System Check detects orphan transit connection objects

Summary: A health check identifies if transit connection objects exist in the Data Path (DP). These may be generated if the Remote System is checked with the 'Verify and Update' option.

Symptoms

If the System Check detects any transit connection objects in the DP, the following error message is displayed: "There are orphan transit connection objects <Object ID>. (KB#000226767)"

If the condition is present, then pressing the "System Check" button from the PowerStore Manager's Monitoring window yields the following output:

If the condition is present, then running the service script svc_health_check yield the following output:

Cause

If replication is configured between two PowerStore clusters, renaming a cluster and performing the "Verify and Update" operation on the remote system connection may cause a node reboot.
