Symptoms

Tijdens de installatie van Alienware Command Center versie 6.3 wordt de melding "Package DCS Error" weergegeven.DCS-fout Alienware Command Center-pakket

Cause

Het installatieprogramma van Dell Core Services kan Dell.Core.Services.Client.exe en enkele andere vereiste processen niet afsluiten voordat u de installatie/upgrade uitvoert.

Resolution

Tijdelijke oplossing

Een tijdelijke oplossing voor dit probleem:

  1. Wanneer de fout wordt weergegeven tijdens de upgrade.
  2. Klik op OK en de installatie is voltooid.
  3. Als de gebruiker op Annuleren klikt en de installatie wordt onderbroken. Voer het DUP/IM-bestand opnieuw uit en selecteer de optie "Add Packages" op de pagina IM-onderhoud.

Alienware Command Center versie 6.4

Een oplossing voor dit probleem wordt geïmplementeerd in Alienware Command Center versie 6.4 (de releasedatum is 24 september 2024).
