Foutmelding bij de installatie van Alienware Command Center v6.3

Cause

AWCCSmartInstaller: Het installatieprogramma van Peripherals voor componenten wordt gemigreerd naar het InstallShield framework voor hun component. Er treedt een fout op tijdens het kopiëren of verwijderen van bepaalde bestanden, wanneer u probeert eerdere versies te verwijderen en de nieuwere versie te installeren.

Resolution

Korte termijn voor 6.3:

Als u op OK klikt, wordt het installatieproces onderbroken. Voer het Dell Update Package-bestand (Install Manager) een tweede keer uit om het probleem op te lossen en AWCC v6.3 met succes te installeren.

Lange termijn:

Er is een supportticket aangemaakt bij InstallShield voor dit specifieke probleem. We zien een probleem bij het verwijderen van het oude randapparatuurpakket dat is gebaseerd op het NSIS-framework en het nieuwe pakket op InstallShield.
