Instructions
Is this alert due to a planned or unplanned power outage?
If this is the case - ensure that the PSU's are detected again by running the command on the node(s) alertingExample:
# cs_hal sensors psu Entity Type Label Status Info ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- Power Supply PSU PS1 Status OK Power Supply PSU PS2 Status OK
There was no power outage and my PSU shows failed
Example:# cs_hal sensors psu Entity Type Label Status Info ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- Power Supply PSU PS1 Status FAIL failure detected; failure predicted; Power Supply PSU PS2 Status OKIt is advised to check the cables. If one is loose (indicated by an amber light), reseat the loose cable and verify the sensor state again.
None of the above fixed my issue.
