Instructions
The server_data_audit_log is a compliance log that records details when a user performs manual operations related to the save set retention time change or a save set deletion, and it is enabled by default.
The data audit log provides a human readable tracking of the relevant changes to be used for auditing purpose. This log file records operations in the media database, and the same records are also recorded in the daemon log.
Users can see the definition of message types to read this log file:
| Type | Description |
| Informational | Information that may be useful, but does not require any specific action. |
| Warning | A temporary problem that NetWorker software may resolve or prompt you to resolve. |
| Notification | An event has occurred that generated a message. |
| Error | Errors that you are required to resolve. |
| Critical | Errors that you are required to resolve, to ensure successful NetWorker operations. |
| Severe | Errors that cause NetWorker services to become disabled or dysfunctional. |
