  • Update Module (updates for Dell computers and docks) - With all the existing capabilities of Dell Command Update (DCU) plus new capabilities:
    • Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) deployment and configuration
    • Headless mode (without UI option for end users)
    • Ring deployment (fast and slow options)
    • Passwordless BIOS updates
  • Security Module (BIOS vulnerability checks for Dell computers) - With all the existing capabilities of Dell Trusted Device (DTD) plus new vulnerability detection and remediation capabilities.
  • Telemetry: This gives customer-approved and customer-visible telemetry of Dell computers that are shared with Dell. This gives the customer control, transparency, and auditability to see and understand what data is being transmitted.

What are the hardware requirements for Dell Client Device Manager?

Dell Client Device Manager supports Dell commercial hardware including OptiPlex, Latitude, Precision, XPS, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max running on Intel or AMD chipsets.
