Symptoms

 

The OpenSSH version 7.9 is supported on FOS 8.2.3x and 9.1.1, which are not vulnerable and are supported on all later FOS codes.

Cause

OpenSHH version checks on the Brocade switch.

Resolution

 

According to the Admin guide, OpenSSH version 7.9p1 is supported in all FOS versions above 8.1.x, including 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2. 

Here is a brief explanation:
Secure Login Channel: Commands requiring a secure login channel must originate from an SSH session.
Supported Versions: Fabric OS supports OpenSSH version 7.9p1 and OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, with the heartbeat feature disabled.
