Data Domain: SDPM opnieuw initialiseren na vervanging van de VOSS-module

Instructions

De SDPM moet opnieuw worden geïnitialiseerd na vervanging van de VOSS- of NVRAM-module.

Van toepassing op:

  • DD9910, DD9410 en DD6410 na vervanging van NVRAM-module (VOSS)
    • PowerProtect Data Domain systemen met SDPM op een VOSS-module
  • Alle ondersteunde softwareversies (DDOS)

Vereiste acties:

Initialiseer de SDPM opnieuw na het vervangen van de VOSS-module:

  1. Toegang tot het systeem-BIOS: System BIOS>Geheugeninstellingen>Permanent geheugen
  2. Zet alle NVDIMM's opschonen op Ingeschakeld
Stel Sanitize in op Enabled
  1. Stel SDPM-geheugengrootte in op 32 GB
Stel de geheugengrootte in op 32 GB
  1. Bevestig het opschonen van de SDPM en start opnieuw op.
Sanitatie bevestigen
  1. Laat het systeem opnieuw opstarten naar DDOS en controleer vervolgens de SDPM door te controleren op meldingen over NVRAM-fouten en door te controleren of het bestandssysteem is ingeschakeld.
# alerts show current
-- There should be no outstanding alert relating to the NVRAM subsystem.
Caution: It may take one to two minutes for the system to clear the NVRAM failure alert.

# system show nvram
Note: The battery must be at least 80% charged for the file system to start.

# filesys status
-- The Filesystem should be Enabled & Running
