Instructions

O SDPM deve ser reinicializado após a substituição do módulo VOSS ou NVRAM.

Aplica-se a:

  • DD9910, DD9410 e DD6410 após a substituição do módulo NVRAM (VOSS)
    • Sistemas PowerProtect Data Domain usando SDPM em um módulo VOSS
  • Todas as versões de software compatíveis (DDOS)

Ações necessárias:

Reinicialize o SDPM após a substituição do módulo VOSS:

  1. Acesse o BIOS do sistema: BIOS> do sistema Configurações> de memória Memória persistente
  2. Defina Sanitize All NVDIMMs como Enabled
Defina Sanitize como Enabled (Ativada)
  1. Definir o tamanho da memória SDPM como 32 GB
Definir o tamanho da memória para 32 GB
  1. Confirme a sanitização e reinicialização do SDPM.
Confirme a higienização
  1. Permita que o sistema reinicialize no DDOS e, em seguida, verifique o SDPM verificando se há alertas de falha de NVRAM e garantindo que o file system esteja ativado.

-- There should be no outstanding alert relating to the NVRAM subsystem.
Caution: It may take one to two minutes for the system to clear the NVRAM failure alert.

Note: The battery must be at least 80% charged for the file system to start.
