SDPM måste initieras på nytt efter byte av VOSS- eller NVRAM-modulen.

Gäller för:

  • DD9910, DD9410 och DD6410 efter byte av NVRAM-modul (VOSS)
    • PowerProtect Data Domain-system som använder SDPM på en VOSS-modul
  • Alla versioner av programvara som stöds (DDOS)

Obligatoriska åtgärder:

Ominitiera om SDPM när VOSS-modulen har bytts ut:

  1. Öppna system-BIOS: System-BIOS>Minnesinställningar>Beständigt minne
  2. Ställ in Sanitize All NVDIMM på Enabled
Ställ in Sanitize på Aktiverad
  1. Ställ in SDPM-minnesstorlek på 32 GB
Ställ in minnesstorleken på 32 GB
  1. Bekräfta SDPM-saneringen och starta om.
Bekräfta sanering
  1. Tillåt systemet att starta om till DDOS och verifiera sedan SDPM genom att söka efter NVRAM-felvarningar och säkerställa att filsystemet är aktiverat.

-- There should be no outstanding alert relating to the NVRAM subsystem.
Caution: It may take one to two minutes for the system to clear the NVRAM failure alert.

Note: The battery must be at least 80% charged for the file system to start.
