Symptoms

在極少數情況下，使用 AMD Milan CPU （7xx3） 之 Hypervisor 叢集中的 PowerEdge 伺服器可能會在整個叢集中隨機間歇性顯示 MCE。

受影響的 PowerEdge 系統包括：

  • R7525
  • R6525
  • R7515
  • R6515

 

Cause

某些 CPU 指示不會更新。

Resolution

要解決此問題，需要執行兩個步驟。

 

  1. BIOS 更新
    • 升級至 BIOS 2.19.0，計劃於 2025 年 7 月發佈

 

  1. 更新後，BIOS 中的設定會變更。
    • 進入 F2 BIOS。
    • 在系統 BIOS 設定 > 處理器設定下，啟用「AMD IC 組態停用 IT 略過」設定
    • 儲存變更並重新開機。

 

變更此 BIOS 設定的系統在一般虛擬化環境中可能會顯示約 0.5% 至 1% 的輕微效能下降。
