Następujący błąd wyświetlany jest w dzienniku aktualizacji ESXi w ścieżce „/data01/tmp/patch/logs”:

Causa

Pakiet VIB „vmware-perccli-007.0529.0000.0000 _ 007.0529.0000.0000-01” zainstalowany na hoście ESXi jest przyczyną problemu

Resolución

Krok 1. Nawiąż połączenie SSH do danego hosta ESXi.

Krok 2. Uruchom następujące polecenie, aby odinstalować pakiet VIB powodujący konflikty:
  • esxcli software vib remove --vibname vmware-perccli-007.0529.0000.0000
Przykład danych wyjściowych:
[root@esx1:~]  esxcli software vib remove --vibname vmware-perccli-007.0529.0000.0000
Removal Result

Step 3. Sprawdź, czy pakiet VIB został pomyślnie usunięty:
  • esxcli software vib list|  grep -i perccli
Uwaga: W przypadku pomyślnego usunięcia pakietu VIB w powyższym poleceniu powinny być wyświetlane puste dane wyjściowe. 

Krok 4. Ponów próbę wykonania aktualizacji ESXi z interfejsu użytkownika ACM.
