  • Check the configuration
    • Is the correct cloud unit listed for the mtree
    • The cloud unit must be set correctly in the DD. 
    • Backup applications cannot modify target unit set in the DD.

  • Check logs
Fmig = File migration
  • Search ddfs.info logs for data movement entries. 
  • Search for "Fmig" in the logs around the time of the data movement and to check the sequence of file migration actions.
