PowerProtect: File System backups fail with error: ABF0001 - Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume

In PowerProtect Data Manager 19.14/19.15, File System backups may fail with the error:

ABF0001: Unable to protect the asset <Drive> on the host <Server> from the backup performed at time <DATE> <TIME> because the following error occurred: 

Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<nn>.

The agent File System Log shows the following:

PowerProtect Data Manager notice BuiltStream read request total bytes to read = <value>

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to write data into multiple buffers for save-set ID '<SaveSetID>': Invalid argument (errno=22) 

PowerProtect Data Manager critical Unable to generate VHDx backup stream for volume \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy<Value>

This is an issue in the DDBOOST version used in the 19.14/19.15 File System Agent.

Dell Technologies recommends that users upgrade to PowerProtect Data Manager versions later than 19.16.0-15.
