Bei einer Neuinstallation oder einem Upgrade auf PowerPath/VE 6.6 gibt es bei PowerPath/VE 6.6

und PowerMAX einen Fehler, der wie folgt ausgegeben wird: PowerPath: emcp_mpapi: Error: ESXi 6.500000 wird nicht unterstützt

Causa

PPVE 6.6 weist diese Einschränkung für eine der PowerMAX-Integrationsfunktionen (Hostregistrierung) auf, bei der PowerPath Informationen über aktive VMs an das PowerMAX-Array meldet. Diese Funktion gilt aufgrund der CIM Provider-Klassenbeschränkung von VMware nur für ESXi 6.7 und höhere Versionen. Daher lösen alle niedrigeren Versionen von ESXi die folgenden Warnmeldungen in den Protokollen aus.

Risoluzione

Dieser Fehler kann ignoriert werden, da diese Meldung für alle niedrigeren ESXi-Versionen als 6.7 protokolliert wird.
