Sintomi

In het array waren zowel symauth als symacl ingeschakeld

De volgende fouten zijn gevonden in symapi.log:

Bovenstaande fout duidt op een probleem met symauth. Echter, gecontroleerd 
 "symauth show -username"
en geverifieerd dat dezelfde gebruiker wordt gezien in 
 "symauth -sid <SID> list -users"
 Ook gecontroleerd 
"symacl -sid <sid> show accgroup Admingrp"
en geverifieerd dat de host deel uitmaakt van symacl AdminGrp.

Geprobeerd te synchroniseren door het uitvoeren van 
"symcfg sync -sid <SID>"
de synchronisatie is echter mislukt met de foutmelding "Symmetrix access control denied the request".

Probleem met symacl-toegang

Risoluzione

Voer 
"symacl -sid XXX show accgroup AdminGrp -acl"
en controleer of AdminGrp het benodigde toegangstype heeft 
C:\>symacl -sid XXX show accgroup AdminGrp -acl

Symmetrix ID: 000197XXXX

    ----------------------------------    ---------------------------------    -----------
    AdminGrp                              ALL_DEVS                             ADMIN
    AdminGrp                              ALL_DEVS                             ALL

In bovenstaande uitvoer kunnen we zien dat AdminGrp toegangstype ADMIN en ALL. heeft, we moeten andere geschikte toegang toevoegen om opdrachten uit te voeren, bijvoorbeeld BASE en BASECTRL om andere opdrachten uit te voeren.

symacl -sid <SID> commit -file <FileName>

Waarbij het bestand het volgende bevat: 
grant access=AccessType to accgroup GroupName for accpool PoolName | ALL | NON-POOLED devs
Zodra BASE - en BASECTRL-toegang was verleend aan AdminGrp, waren we in staat om opdrachten foutloos uit te voeren.
