Istruzioni
Use the following procedure to set the device date and time.
Setting the Time Zone
The following procedure describes how to set the time zone for a switch. You must perform the procedure on all switches for which the time zone must be set. However, you must set the time zone only once on each switch because the value is written to nonvolatile memory.
Setting the Time Zone Interactively
Use the following procedure to set the current time zone to the time zone in Africa using interactive mode:
- Connect to the switch and log in using an account assigned to the admin role.
- Enter the date command, using the following syntax:
date [MMDDhhmm[YY]]
- The values represent the following:
- MM is the month; valid values are 01 through 12.
- DD is the date; valid values are 01 through 31.
- hh is the hour; valid values are 00 through 23.
- mm is minutes; valid values are 00 through 59.
- YY is the year; valid values are 00 through 37 and 70 through 99 (year values from 70 through 99 are interpreted as 1970 through 1999; year values from 00 through 37 are interpreted as 2000 through 2037).
switch:admin> date Fri Feb 9 17:01:48 UTC 2019 switch:admin> date "0204101020" Mon Feb 4 10:10:00 UTC 2020A system-generated message appears, if you try to change the date within 64 seconds of a previous change.
Date change within 64 seconds from previous change is not allowed
Note: From Fabric OS 9.1.0, the system is monitored and protected from disproportionate time changes. The date cannot be changed beyond plus or minus 7 days using the date command. This function is called Restrictive Time Adjustment (RTA).
