Symptómy

Dell Command Update (DCU) users may notice that the application terminates unexpectedly when they try to upgrade Dell Optimizer to version 4.0 using DCU.

Príčina

As part of the upgrade process, the Dell Optimizer installer shuts down the Dell Tech Hub service which is used by both DCU and Dell Optimizer.

The DCU user interface (UI) will terminate when the service is stopped.

Riešenie

The Dell Tech Hub service will restart two minutes after the Dell Optimizer upgrade is completed.

DCU can be rerun to verify the updates have been completed.

Alternately, launching DCU will automatically restart the Dell Tech Hub service.
